This capability allows you to reduce the bandwidth costs associated with your text based files such as PHP, HTML, Javascript and more by compressing the content sent to the requesting browser which in turn means less time spent downloading the code content itself. For your viewers, the benefit is a faster and more responsive loading time for your website!
